Brew Meister, a crazy place in Jayanagar, Bangalore, where you will get some freshly brewed beer, some delicious food, crazy cocktails and many more. This microbrewery is a remarkable addition to the list of breweries here. I just visited this place with some of my friends for a Saturday Brunch. They are located in Jayanagar fourth block, above VB Jewellers.
Ambiance: It was great and classy. I loved it. There are four seating places, one at the third floor (air-conditioned as well as outdoor) and the other on the fourth floor where there is a rooftop with high chairs and tables as well as air-conditioned with catchy interior decoration and a live bar. Service is good and fast and the staff is friendly.
When you will enter the premise you can buy the samples of the freshly brewed beers. This will give you an idea what you’d like to indulge in.
Pale was a citrus flavored one with Melon and stone fruit characteristics. It’s good and I loved it
Pilsner was a European style Pilsner with soft sweet malt profile and quite a taste.
Witbier was a mix of spices and herbal notes and was good too.
Stout was a coffee, vanilla, licorice and dark chocolate flavored. This one had something unique for the taste. If you want a change of taste I would recommend this.
For the drinks I had many.
Bar Man special; I told him to make his specialty and It was the best. Loved it.
Basil and Jalapeno Martini was tangy and different than the normal martini.
Virgin Mojito is an all-time favorite and refreshing drink which I never miss. I loved it.
Jalapenos Cheese Bombers were great, filled with cheese and covered with breadcrumbs. It tasted great with Mayonnaise (recommended).
Stuffed Mushroom was great too. The mushrooms were cooked well with right spices as the filling, making this an amazing starter.
Bruschetta; bread loaded with cheese and vegetables. I loved it
Paneer Tikka was good but overrated.
Baby Corn stick was a nice add up. I loved it.
Hara Bhara Kabab was presented in a glass with chutney in it. The presentation was new and it looked as good as it tasted.
Main Course; we had small portions of:
Thai Curry which tasted well and had a significant taste of coconut in it with broccoli mushroom and other vegetables it went well with roti and rice.
Brew Meister Mini Kofta Curry; amazing, I loved it and I would recommend this dish as a must try as it goes well with both roti as well as rice.
Roasted Bell Pepper was good but I felt the base was not baked properly.
Desserts were really good. Mango mint chocolate chili Mousse was tasty and I loved it. It was amazing enough to recommend it.
Gulab Jamun with Rabri was delicious too.
Overall the experience was great I would love to visit this place again. Meanwhile, if you do, leave us in comments about your experience.
