As a person with a huge sweet tooth, I always loved Indian sweets compared to the others. Also, as an admirer of sweets, I just fell in love with this specific outlet Chatpatlal, located in Brookfield. This place is located on the busy streets of AECS layout. You will just go into a world of sweets, chaats
Yes, you heard it right! Gola, the icy stick covered with different flavors dripping on your hands as you suck the flavors from it. Here, they serve 60 different kinds of golas. You can have 25 flavors in one Gola at Rs 40 only. I tried some flavors such as Guava, Kacha Mango, Sandalwood, Pulse, Pan, mango, Centre fresh, Gulkand, Kala Khatta, Orange, and Coffee. I loved the Sandalwood and Coffee flavors. The person who makes them is very skilled and hats off to him.
Coming to Sweets, I had a variety of Bengali sweets. Some were known ones such as Rabdi, Kaju Katli, Rasgulla, Motichoor Ladoo and dry fruit ladoo. All the sweets got their unique taste and the cost is also reasonable. I also loved the Rajbhog which was worth trying.
Raj Kachori chaat was just amazing. Its sweet and tangy taste was balanced and I enjoyed it.
Mixed Chaat was good and mixed.
Club kachori is their breakfast special. Small kachoris served with chole ki sabzi. It was good.
Veg Pulao where the rice was well cooked and it was perfect.
Dhokla was soft, but need to be more spongier. Needs improvement.
Paneer Patties were okay, but I felt it needs some improvement.
Bread patties were good.
Chhole Bhature were good too. I loved the chhole here.
Thali was yummy. They have a good combination of roti, paneer subzi, dal, jeera rice and papad which is worth trying. Loved it.
I would say this was a good experience. I would love to visit exclusively for their tea and Golas.
