I often wonder… what had I been if I’d made a different choice back then.
I might have been a poet, or an architect building dream homes for people or would be on a farm with my rooster and hen.
But no, I’m neither of those.
I am what I’m today the way my destiny chose.
I think of the time that has passed away,
It seldom gave me happiness and made me feel gay;
Those bitter memories I’ve had hiding down the memory lane
Why should I touch them when they shall give me more pain;
I often wonder… where would I be, If not born here?
I would have been born in thatch or a castle somewhere.
I don’t know but glad I am as here I be,
Coz it is the place where I find the utmost ecstasy
I often wonder…
