Shift is another fun place in HSR where you get food, music, good ambiance, and much more. Located above House of Commons, this place is divided into three seating arrangements. Shift X (Lounge, cafe and co workers’ area) , Shift Y(Dive Bar) and Shift Z (Rooftop Lounge) attracts a large number of crowd as its located at prime location in HSR Layout.

Ambiance: a classy cafe set up in shift x, a top-notch pub ambiance in shift y and beautiful rooftop experience in shift z with a sight of beautiful Bangalore evening. They got both high-end chairs and sofas as per the comfort.

Cocktails: Long Island Iced tea and as a fan of this drink I would say it was good, but the concentration of alcohol was high.
Bartender’s special: I had a gin-based cocktail with orange zest and it was great.
Virgin Mojito was quite refreshing.

Hookah is something that would set the mood. I had Nirvana and Pan flavored and both were good.

Appetizers: Started with Mumbai Bhel and Chinese bhel which were good.
Stick Shift was good too, but I felt it could have been better. A little more cheesy would have been tastier.
Mushroom Cap; l just loved it.
Open sesame was good. The cauliflower was well cooked and it was just delicious.
Cigaro was delicious, crispy and cheesy. Loved it.

Pizza: From the farm was cheesy, filled with veggies and it looked so tempting I had to overeat it. I am glad I did. Want to try again. My recommendation for this place is this awesome pizza.

Main Course: Barbeque Paneer Steak with veggies and mashed potato, the whole combo was good. The paneer was soft and well cooked and mashed potato was just perfect. Loved it
Paneer Butter Masala with coin paratha was good too.

Dessert: I had a Coconut Malibu Panna Cotta which was the best dessert I have ever had. It just stole my heart away. I loved it. This is another recommendation from my side.
Joke-e-Shai was good and was delicious. But my recommendation is that you should have it after Panna Cotta so Joke-e-Shai does not have to face strong competition.

They have also started Sunday Brunch at the rate of INR 1499 (IML) and INR 1799 (FML). Do try it and let us know your experience in the comments.

Foodie Verdict:
Food: 4.5/5
Ambiance: 4.5/5
Service: 4/5
