Twisted Dream

I had a dream…
I was drowning in a stream.
The currents were against my will,
But my heart was seeking the thrill.
I never wanted to get away from the dream,
Yet, I was up with a scream.
My heart was pounding hard.
But I didn’t feel the pain.
With a blink, I was standing in a great hall,
A man was asking for a brawl.
I would swing my fist left and right,
Yet, on my face, the punches were coming tight.
I dodged a few but still, I gave some back,
I was brawling with my inner black
It grinned on me unstoppable…
I was losing the brawl, but my heart knew it was possible
I knew I cannot turn around,
Had to do the best for the final round.
Mr. Black made his big mistake
I charged my punch, but he had me awake.
I realized, yet again, it was just a dream
And still, I just wanted to go down the stream.
