The mask I wear…

The mask I wear..

To deceive.

The world of my reality,

My vulnerability,

My insecurity.

Been wearing it for so long…

I don’t have a separate identity anymore…

The mask and me…

Been wearing it for so long…

I don’t know which is truer,

The mask or me…

Been wearing it for so long…

Feels like only the mask exists,

That I stopped existing long ago.

Very beautiful poem. Talks about the identity that we lose after pretending and hiding our true emotions. It is so normal to become what we are not in this world that remaining what we are is impossible

  2. Yeshi Zangmo - 30 Apr 2020 beautiful. I loved it.
